Join a team dedicated to helping teenage girls with emotional and behavior issues. Nexus Glen Lake, a small intensive residential treatment program located in Minnetonka, is looking for an Associate Director to provide leadership and insure operational efficiency and effectiveness of all site programming within all applicable rules and standards of the organization, as well as external regulating agencies.
Provide leadership and program management by uniting people around the mission and vision of the organization.
Direct the development, implementation and maintenance of all components of the treatment program (individual and group therapies incorporating trauma-focused programming, psychology, treatment culture, aftercare, etc.) Participate as a multi-disciplinary team member in developing and implementing client treatment plans and strategies and provide direct client services to maximize therapeutic effectiveness.
Ensure that all programs and services operate under family-centered treatment principles.
Participate in the selection, training, ongoing development and performance evaluation of program staff.
Manage and monitor the program milieu and collaborate with coworkers to ensure an emotionally and physically safe environment for clients and one that is also positive, respectful, clean and therapeutic.
Maintain appropriate census, as well as site budget/expenses, to ensure the siteís and Nexusí revenue goals are achieved.
Develop and foster positive relations with internal and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS (required unless otherwise noted):
Masters degree in Social Services, Psychology or clinically related field required, along with related licensure required.
Minimum of 5 years in adolescent counseling and/or residential experience required, plus 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
Valid driverís license required. Must meet state regulating agency and Corporate driving requirements.
Must be able to meet and remain current in all required certifications/licensures.
