Job Description:

Position: Family Therapist/Mental Health Professional

Type: Full Time

Central MN Mental Health Center’s has an opportunity in the St. Cloud Outpatient Mental Health Department office, for a full-time therapist who will provide culturally competent mental health services with a focus on 0-5 year olds and families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns. The perfect candidate for the position would have the desire to work under an Integrative, Trauma Informed Care philosophy to provide therapeutic services to clients and their families/guardians.

As a former and present recipient of a MN DHS Grant servicing 0-5 year olds and their families, CMMHC is able to offer evidenced based training opportunities specific to this population.

The Duties may include but are not limited to:
•Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical outpatient mental health therapy to clients as scheduled.
•Maintain documentation and billable expectations.
•Work a minimum of one evening per week.
•Complete all administrative and professional responsibilities
•Coordinate services with other programs and providers
•Actively participate as a positive member of the clinic environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Utilize system’s theory when providing comprehensive integrative services tochildren, and families
•Coordinate services with other programs and providers
•Maintain case files within electronic health record (EHR).

•Licensed as an LP, LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, Psy.D, or Ph.D. from an accredited University, (Psy.D preferred)
•Knowledge of trauma informed principles (preferred)
•Knowledge of Integrative service delivery (preferred)
•Experience in working with young children and families
•DC 0-3R/ECSII completed training (preferred)
