Family Innovations. a dynamic and growing mental health provider serving clients in Minnesota. Wisconsin and Michigan. is seeking self-motivated, energetic and passionate individuals currently enrolled in a graduate program in a mental health field that want to grow and develop professionally. Here is what this could look like for you:

PROGRESSION THROUGH PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES: Four primary levels of professional development in our Community Based Division:
1. Clinical Trainee - Beginner
a. Provide behavioral skills to clients, either youthlfamilies or adults
b. Learn electronic health record system and clinical charting
c. Active support of clinical supervisor as a teacher
2. Clinical Trainee -Intermediate
a. Provide skills services
b. Integrate psychotherapy into services provided to clients
c. Begin learning and developing diagnostic assessments
3. Clinical Trainee - Advanced
a. Provide diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy and skills
4. Trauma Informed Clinician -Intermediate or Advanced Clinical Trainees (selection process required). Trauma Informed Therapy, Clinical Care Coordination and Psycho-education for youth in licensed foster homes. along with services for foster and biological families and other care professionals involved with these youth.

TIMELINE OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES:
1st year of graduate school - a part time paid position where you can apply your initial graduate school learning in a real world environment, providing behavioral health skills for childrenlfamilies or adults while learning the use of electronic health record system and clinical charting requirements for insurers.
2nd year of graduate school - part time paid position where you will be providing skills and psychotherapy to clients in the community. You will be even more fully immersed in understanding of clinical documentation. Additionally. you will be learning and developing diagnostic assessment skills. 1st year after graduation - full or part time employment opportunity providing a mix of skills training and psychotherapy in a community based setting. Depending on area of interest, agency provided training in evidence based trauma therapy for school age youth and their families. Eligible for national certification upon meeting requirements of model.
2nd year after graduation - full or part time employment providing a mix of skills training and psychotherapy. Option to provide a unique blend of trauma informed therapy. psycho-education and clinical care coordination to wrap-around team for youth in family foster care settings. Small caseload - you would be lead clinician highly engaged in therapeutic services and directing clinical aspect of entire treatment team.
