Mental Health Professional I- Kindred Adolescent R

Job Description:

Our Kindred Adolescent Recovery Program, a Rule 31 clinic, is seeking a Mental Health Professional (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP) to provide individual, group, and family services to adolescent clients with co-occurring disorders in an integrated treatment setting. Experience treating adolescents and providing family therapy is strongly preferred, as well as familiarity with completing diagnostic assessments and mental and chemical health screening tools. Applicants with 30 hours of adolescent development also preferred, although this training will be made available to staff as needed. Kindred Adolescent Recovery will be a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), and a participant in People Incorporated's suite of services designed as part of the multi-state demonstration project of this exciting and innovative new approach to behavioral health care

The Mental Health Professional I provides intensive treatment services for a primary case load of 3-6 clients.

Responsibilities include:
Developing therapeutic alliance
Conducting comprehensive assessment
Creating individualized treatment plans
Daily interventions
Facilitating group 2-3 times per week
Completing diagnostic assessments
Although the services provided are primarily skills-based and rehabilitative in nature, this position has the opportunity to include individual or family therapy at times.

The schedule for this position will be: Saturdays, 8:30am-5:00pm, and either Tuesday-Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm OR 12:00pm-8:00pm. There will be some flexibility with the schedule to accommodate the needs of the program and professional.

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in human service field 2000 hours of experience in the provision of services to persons with mental illness Current and valid professional license in the state of Minnesota: LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of motivational interviewing, CBT, crisis intervention, DBT, trauma-informed care, and psychiatric rehabilitation Experience leading groups and completing diagnostic assessments
