Childrens Mental Health Therapist Clinical Trainee

Job Description:

People Incorporated serves people with mental illness in the Minneapolis and Saint Paul metro area. In 2016, we reached 12,000 individuals through more than 60 different programs. Our Mental Health Therapists / Clinical Trainees work with adolescents and their families to provide them with therapy to provide them with access to therapy in an outpatient mental health clinic.

Position responsibilities include:
•Developing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with children, parents and other family members
•Creating and implementing treatment plans
•Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans
•Conducting individual therapy and, as needed, conducting family and group therapies

Required qualifications:
•Master's degree in behavior sciences
•Previous experience providing therapy to children, adolescents and families
•Pursuing a professional license in one of the following: LP, LPCC, LMFT, LICSW

Preferred qualifications:
•Proven success collaborating on interdisciplinary teams
