Job Description:

School-Linked Mental Health Services program, sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Human Services, provides on-site mental health services to students who would otherwise not be able to access these services in the community.

Our Mental Health Therapists work with children to provide them with access to therapy in a school setting. Position responsibilities include:
•Developing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with children, parents and other family members
•Creating and implementing treatment plans
•Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans
•Conducting individual therapy and, as needed, conducting family and group therapies
•Collaborating with school staff regarding referrals and scheduling

Typical schedules for school-linked positions match school hours of operation, assuming a full-time schedule. All schools begin and end their days between 7:30am 5:00pm. Actual hours may vary depending upon the needs of families for family therapy. We have both full-time and part-time positions available.

Required qualifications:
•Current and valid licensure as LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC
•Master's degree in behavior sciences
•Previous experience with children, adolescents and families in a therapeutic arena

Preferred qualifications:
•Experience collaborating with school systems and school personnel
•Proven success collaborating on interdisciplinary teams
